About Project

For people who have dogs and love food, dining with their dogs is a problem. Because of the activity habits of dogs, their owners need to take them out every day and the chances of eating out are greatly increased. ON MY SIDE is the bridge between the restaurant and them. This app can help guests to take their dogs to dine with them efficiently and conveniently.

69 million households in the US owned at least 1 dog.
70% of all households in the US owned a pet.

Target Audience

My target audience is people who love food and have dogs at the same time. They love life and enjoy dining at restaurants. They see their dogs as family members and love. Importantly, they believe that the relationship between pets and people develops in both directions. They value themselves as well as the feelings of their pets.

I like to take my dogs out. But if I'm going to a restaurant with friends, I usually have to leave my dog at home. I would worry about her.

It would be much easier if I could know if I could bring my dog before I arrived at the restaurant.

What this means

A portion of the population is okay with restaurants providing snacks for dogs. A part of the population is not, because they are concerned about dog allergies. So, it is perfectly feasible to offer water. The snack part is optional.
People prefer to go to restaurants that they know they can take their dogs to. Therefore, we need to mark whether a restaurant can take dogs to eat.
People don’t want more than 3 dogs in restaurant at once. Therefore, it is better for restaurants to provide real-time monitoring. So that guests can check the restaurant environment before going to the restaurant.

People do reduce times and shorten time, because they worried about their dogs. So they want to be able to go to restaurants they haven't been to and still be able to take their dog with them. So the app should be able to provide reservations for guests with dogs.
